Rolling back-take: 1-min BJJ technique video lesson

Take a look at this short but sweet video lesson from our friend Eduardo ‘Teta’ Rios, a third degree black belt and high-level competitive grappler. Rios is the head coach at Frontline Academy in Oslo, Norway, and is a black belt under the legendary Ricardo Liborio of the Carlson Gracie lineage.

Rios shows a nice rolling back take from inside your opponent’s open guard. This is a surprise attack but very effective. Teta has qualified for the upcoming ADCC 2013 Submission Wrestling world championships, to be held in China, and Connection Rio would like to wish him the best of luck.

Demonstrating the technique with Teta is our sponsored athlete, purple belt Abdallah Nabas of Jordan.
