"To train where it all began is an adventure of a lifetime. Dennis is a great guy and also a good teacher. I grew up in the 80's with movies like Karate Kid and American Ninja since then I always wanted to train Martial Arts. I tried a lot as a kid but never found my Mr. Miyagi kind of training. BJJ is still pretty young in Germany, therefore it is pretty hard to train, especially if you work fulltime as me - doing other Martial Arts as well. So I tried to pick up BJJ in some workshops all over Germany until I read an article about Connection Rio and Gordo Jui Jitsu. Within a minute I knew that is what I want to do. "Training in Rio de Janeiro was truly an awesome experience. The opportunity of being able to train under Robert "Gordo" Correa a legend of the sport, spending time daily with multiple world champion black belts whilst being a relative novice in the jiu jitsu myself was an opportunity that can't be found anywhere else.
